Can you really skip blow drying and still get the same effect?

I’m a really busy person and I’m pretty big on anything that’ll save me time. So, when I heard you could buy a wet to dry flat iron I was pretty excited! The idea of leaping straight out of the shower, skipping the long and boring blow dry session and picking up my flat iron certainly has its appeal.

But, can they really do as good a job as classic flat irons? I’m all for saving time, but only if the result is as good. Will drying your hair with your flat iron cause unnecessary damage? Will the excess moisture come back to haunt you as an unsightly frizz bomb later in the day?
